A massive 7.8 earthquake in Nepal shattered hundreds and thousands of people’s lives. Homes and buildings were reduced to wreckage by the worse earthquake to hit the district in 80 years. The survivors of  this terrific earthquake have been subject to continuous aftershocks and need food, water and shelter.

The death toll from Nepal’s earthquake rose to over 5,000 as of April 30th. Three days after the massive earthquake ripped across this Himalayan nation, there were tens of thousands of people shell-shocked and left to sleep in the streets.

Our United States President Barack Obama called Nepalese Prime Minister Sushil Koirala to offer condolences and promised aid.
