Governor Steve Bullock announced that Lt. Governor Angela McLean will be leaving her position to become the director of American Indian and Minority Achievement and K-12 Partnerships at the Office of Commissioner of Higher Education.
Governor Bullock stated that McLean’s, “…passion to work on challenging issues and continually seeking opportunities to help others has led her to taking this new role, and she will be terrific at it.”
According to McLean, her decision to accept the position with OCHE was based on its potential to make a direct difference in improving students success and access to college for Montana low-income and minority students. McLean visited Great Falls High last year
McLean said it has been an honor to serve as Lt. Governor for the past two years.
