The senior lot, a long standing tradition that provides the best parking for the senior class. No one else has the privilege to park in the lot, but when the graduation ceremony is over, the junior take the lot for their own. Should these students be allowed to acquire the stature of a senior before they even finish their junior year? I know the school permits them to park in the senior lot, but their respect for the senior class seems to diminish when they take that opportunity before it is rightfully theirs. They may be upperclassmen, but they should wait until their year has come and legacy of the 2010 graduating class is only in remembrance. Upon reading my commentary, many may disagree and think it is okay to park in the senior lot. Now ponder this for a minute, when they are ending their final year at Great Falls high, they will want the same respect we want. They will only gain such approval from the underclassmen if they are the first to set the precedence.
