The district school board unanimously decided to renew Cheryl Crawley’s contract for three years as Superintendent of schools. Despite allegations made by Tifonie Schilling, mother of the abused student from North Middle school, the board announced at the end of the meeting on Monday Jan. 11, that Crawley has been a superior Superintendent and will continue to be in the next three years.
Schilling said that over the past two years the district has ignored the reports of her abused son and that Crawley should not be given the 1 percent pay raise and a new contract.
However, the board disagrees and Crawley will continue to be the Superintendent of Great Falls schools.
