The State wrestling tournament was a successful one for the boys, the hardware they brought home flaunts their third place.

Sophomore Josh Morin, a 125 wrestler won first place for his weight class and so did sophomore Cole Mendenhall at 119. Justin Smart, a senior, won second place for the 105 weight class.

The Bison qualified 22 wrestlers to wrestle in the State tournament, but, due to illness and other reasons only 20 wrestled. With the loss of two wrestlers the team still did extraordinarily well. The fight to the top took more than just a good match, it took patience and acceptance of a few all but fair referees.
