Community service is an excellent way to help your city and the world around you, and face it, a great way to make yourself exceptional when applying to colleges. Great Falls High School has even seen fit to make community service an activity students can letter in, apparently trying to up the cool factor of altruism. This past summer, freshman Danielle Wilson completed around 200 hours of community service. “I did it as way to get into college. Anything like that helps.” She worked at Benefis for 4 to 5 hours a day, making posters for the new South Tower. When asked for advice on what others can do to get involved, Wilson said “talk to your parents about it and see what they have to say about kind of work would be best for you.”
