What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? The Vaccines, London, England indie rock band releases their debut album, What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?, with critical response from from England and Europe.

With five charting singles and ranking fourth in the UK Album Charts, The Vaccines are on their way to popularizing their 70′s punk influenced music. When first listening to their debut album, I drew two comparisons to their style, The Strokes and Ramones, however, it also reminded me of the origin of rock ‘n’ roll, such as, Elvis and Buddy Holly.

The album generated five singles from the debut, including, “Norgaard”, “All In White”, “Post Break-Up Sex”, “Wetsuit” and “If You Wanna”. My favorite song concludes to be “Post Break-Up Sex” possibly due to my maturity and the overall sound of the single matches my taste of music.

What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?  held to be a album with many pop songs and at times a little generic. Without a doubt this is a great album for any post-grunge revivalist, however, the music was in a way predictable and easy to sing along with.

Overall,  What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? is by far one of the greatest debut albums in my opinion and refreshes my belief in UK indie rock. Give The Vaccines a listen and pick up their debut album, What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?
