Ada’s Opinion:
Having read all of the Twilight Saga and seen all of the movies in theater and out, I guess you could say that I am somewhat of a fan. I went into the movie with no expectations because I realize that the Twilight movies are not the highest quality, but they are however full of entertainment. Breaking Dawn Part 1 was pretty great. Their honeymoon spot looked amazing, and it was interesting to compare how I saw Bella pregnant to how the movie portrays her. Some of the wolf scenes were a little too fake for me, but overall I really enjoyed the movie. I saw it twice in theaters so I caught things that I didn’t see the first time. Although not the highest caliber movie I’ve ever seen, I can understand why it has come to be such a huge hit internationally.
Sara’s opinion:
Although I didn’t expect much of “Breaking Dawn,” I did except it to effectively tell the story of Edward and Bella, however it fell short. My low expectations weren’t low enough. I read all of the books, and I felt short changed while watching the newest film. This movie was definitely the worst of the four so far, it was overly dramatic and the special effects were not very realistic. I didn’t find the story as believable as when I was reading the book. The cliff hanger at the end was the only thing that made me want to drag myself to the next movie.
